So Hard Core: Endurance of the Low Back
A wise professor in chiropractic school once told me, “your core strength is directly related to the endurance of your low back”. In other words, a strong core = a strong low back. Let's think about it! When you're sitting down, you're able to keep proper posture as long as your core doesn't fatigue. The second it does, your spine starts to round and it places your neck in a compromising position.
My favorite way to strengthen my core is by doing planks. See how long you can hold a neutral plank position. Start with 15-20 seconds, then build your way up to a minute!
